Arsenal have signed 17 year old left sided defender/forward Pedro from Figueirense in Brazil.The player will join new signing Angel Di Maria at Salamanca in Spain following in the foot steps of Carlos Vela who played there last season in what has become an official "parking" relationship between the clubs.
The club said he will train with them, then spend two weeks at Arsenal before returning to Brazil until October. Then he will be Salamanca's player for the rest of the season.
Pedro, who can also play in attack, has already featured for the first-team of the Brazilian club.
