Arsene Wenger has extended his contract for another three years WITHOUT escape clauses linking him to Arsenal FC through what may be a turbulent period of takeover attempts. While the media made much of the David Dein departure and spurious interest in buying the club, Wenger has quietly gone about his business this summer with most Gooners very confident of him staying.
Its nice that this is now put to bed. The press are much to histrionic when it comes to Arsenal FC. As much as the doom and gloom stories were entertaining it does become irritating when these must be endured on a daily basis.
Well done to the club and Wenger for making this happen. Arsene Wenger is crucial to the continiuing of the Arsenal project. Long may he stay.

WTF! He hasnt signed anything yet. He may be about to sign another contract but its not signed yet. What if he changes his mind then your gonna look like a twat!
