Arsenal Football Club have signed Argentinian forward Angel Di Maria from Rosario Central for an undisclosed sum (thought to be £3.5m-4m). The 19 year old is currently playing with Sergio Aguero for the Argentina Under 20s in the Fifa World Cup in Canada.Gilles Grimaldi has been tracking the player for some time and it is thought that the left winger, nicknamed Angelito, will replace want away left side Jose Antonio Reyes. Inevitably the winger has been compared to Maradona. But then so has every young Argentinian forward for a generation.
